How do you view your dreams? Or, do you view them at all?

Yes, you can view your dreams even though they have not materialized yet. As a matter of fact, they may never materialize unless you first start bringing your dreams into focus.  In order to bring your dreams into focus, I believe you must stir up your childlike faith. The grown-up in you is not up for the task simply because there is too much rationalizing that goes on when you start dreaming, which short-circuits your creative imagination. Viewing your dreams clearly requires an effective mental workshop. Before your desires will ever manifest there must be some work done in the mind. I remember when I first began imagining myself diving for passes thrown to me by a quarterback that I would some day meet.

I was in 7th grade. I became so involved in imagining these future events that I felt I was actually present in a game. It was great! It felt like I was detaching myself from my home and other cares and distractions like 6 siblings, lots of chores to do, school and my side job where I worked as a dishwasher. The author of Think and Grow Rich Napoleon Hill, describes our imagination as the workshop where mans plans are created. I visited my workshop often when it came to fashioning my skills as a football player. I was the boss of a workshop who allowed imaginations to run wild. I only wish I had imagined more awesome possibilities beyond football.

Even though, I began dreaming and imagining myself dive and catch passes when I was in the 7th grade, the reality of my imagination did not manifest until I was a junior in high school. One night in front of a huge crowd at an away game it just happened! I had an incredible game as I launched my body into the air to make catches I had never made before but only dreamed about.

So start imagining now!
